Tutors get to know new cultures, make new friends and have a great time!

International tutors are also entitled to one credit point after attending AYY’s tutor trainings and returning a report. Tutors will get a tutor certificate and expense reimbursement, too. 7. Join us to create a great development co-operation week!

Are you interested in global questions? Would you like to know more about the interrelation of development and education? Do you have a secret or a very open wish to make the world a better place?

AYY will organise a development co-operation week in October with a central theme education and development. The aim of the week is to increase awareness of global questions and development co-operation among university students as part of a national campaign by the National Union of University Students (SYL). If you are excited about or want to learn more about development co-operation, join our first meeting at AYY’s Central Office (Otakaari 11) upstairs in the negotiation room on Tuesday, 18 March at 5pm for more information!

You do not need to have a grand vision or experience in the field. Everyone (any background, any level of skill, any interests) is welcome to hear the info and share their ideas, even if you will not be in Finland for the autumn semester. If you cannot make it, just drop a line to teija.lehmuskoski@aalto.fi and we will be in touch.

Please note that in order to take part in the event, you must:

  1. Be prepared to cook a little something for the others, and
