1. COURSES STARTING IN MARCH AND APRIL AT UNISPORT
There are several different courses starting in March and April on most of UniSport’s campuses. In Otaniemi: Feel light coaching pilot, running school and show dance level 1, among others. In Kumpula for example: Latin dance coctail, gym start, kettle ball start and fitness boxing techniques. Find your own and register. Read more.
2. LATE NIGHT WITH UNISPORT IN MEILAHTI ON FRIDAY MARCH 15
Traditional night sports event Late Night with UniSport is organized on Friday March 15 starting at 7pm in Meilahti. The night contains indoor cycling for many different tastes, combination of dance club and work out area and stretching and balance exercises for those who wish to take it easy. In addition, there will be technique counseling at gym. If you are looking for something different, try Touch Tennis. Read more.
3. WEEKLY STREET DANCE LESSONS BY POLIJAZZ
Dance association Polijazz offers weekly street dance lessons. Lessons are held on Mondays at 4.30pm-6pm in Otaniemi (Jämeräntaival 3 A, monitoimitila) starting March 4. Teacher is Helena Taylor. Read more (in Finnish only).
4. APPLICATION FOR EUSA VOLUNTEER PROGRAM 2013 IS OPEN
EUSA (European Universty Sports Association) volunteer program for 2013 is open now. Aim of the program is to offer experience for university students of volunteering and organizing competitions and events in Europe. Read more.
5. REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR SELL STUDENT GAMES IS APPROACHING
SELL STUDENT GAMES are organized March 24–26 in Riga. Students are competing in following sports this year: athletics, swimming, judo, orienteering, weight lifting, chess, table tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball,soccer 7 vs 7, cheerleading, ultimate, wrestling and rugby 7 vs 7.
