  1. Mentors of Finland Association: Let’s work campaign is ongoing until 31 Jan 2016, dozens of paid internships for higher-educated young people!

The Mentors of Finland Association has launched Let’s work trainee campaign in cooperation with major companies. The campaign is continuation to Let’s work project launched in the spring of 2015. In the project, companies offer young people their first job equivalent to their education i the form of a six-month paid internship. There are dozens of positions available. The work will begin during the spring of 2016.

The purpose of the programme is to help all recently graduated highly educated young people to find work. At the same time, organisations that participate in the programme challenge all Finnish companies to participate and provide at least one internship position for a highly educated young person. The internship and the gained work experience provide young people with good possibilities to find a job in their own field after the internship. Trainees will receive salary for the internship. This time, internships are provided by

Nokia, Wärtsilä, Metso, SRV, KPMG, Stora Enso, Uponor, Kemira, Nokian Renkaat, Accenture, OP, Kesko and Barona.

The trainee programme is aimed at recently graduated or soon to be graduated highly educated young people. Internships are available across Finland. The campaign is ongoing until 31 Jan 2016. You can apply for interships directly on the company websites. Positions will open during December and January and application periods vary depending on companies and positions.
