All AYY housing keys handled through Otaniemi during the summer

Töölö Service Point is closed during the summer. Therefore all AYY housing related keys are handled through the AYY Housing Office in Otaniemi for the summer. All keys must be returned and fetched from Otaniemi. During summer it is not possible to leave them or get them from Töölö.

It is still possible to exchange keys directly between the tenants and we strongly suggest you do this. Use the moving agreement and transfer of keys -form. Make sure to read the agreement closely first.

Housing inspection can now be made electronically

A new tenant must check the condition of the apartment within one week of the moving day. In this way, we can ensure that defects can be repaired and AYY’s apartments stay in good condition from one tenant to the next. Now you can make the housing inspection completely online. We advise all new residents to use the electronic housing inspection form instead of the paper form. This speeds up the process for everyone, necessary repairs or cleaning can be arranged faster and deposits can be returned faster to the previous resident.

The electronic housing inspection form includes the address of the apartment, the resident’s name and e-mail and the evaluation of the condition of the apartment. A completed form is delivered automatically to AYY and a copy is also submitted to the resident’s email. Further information on housing inspection and general advice for a new resident is available on AYY’s website at: /jasenille/asuminen/hakuinfo/sisaanmuutto/

The housing inspection form is currently being translated and it will be available in English and Swedish in the near future.

Feedback and questions on the electronic form can be submitted to Housing Specialist Jaakko Koivula (firstname.surname@ayy.fi, tel. 050 520 9444).

AYY’s Housing Office will help you with all housing-related issues.
